They talked about Addison Cain and her nonsense

honestly this was better than expected. I definitely did not expect them to use excerpts from Lindsay Ellis' video essay about the Omegaverse lawsuit. I do wonder if they wanted to go into what happened after Addison Cain went after Ellis, her publisher, that one lawyer, OTW, EFF Courtney Milan, and basically anyone she thought she could go after.

Bad Editing - Dosen't deliver

First off - professional podcasts should not have minutes of nothing and then an unedited promo read in the middle of the first episode.

Secondly - there is no payoff. If you are filling in the missing pages then let's hear who did what and who is responsible. You mention an editor on both books and then never follow up. Who was it? What do they have to say? You just retold the story with ZERO new information.

Finally - I would expect a host who has the experience touted to have numerous contacts who could speak into the story and how the industry works. This should have been chocked full of clips from industry people weighing in on the issues.

So, I will listen to episode 2. If things change. I'll let you know.
