ROAD TRIP FROM HELL! And what an adventure….

WOW! I loved this audiobook. This is the second of JE Rowney’s books that I’ve read/heard. I’m a compulsive reader; my favorite genre is the psychological thriller. The author is the only author who can make something positive out of extreme circumstances within which her characters find themselves. The story behind the story is something no other author does within the psychological thriller genre.

This audiobook is so tense; I was so afraid for for ladies who left the familiarities of their lives in order to do something amazing without regard for their safety. Kudos to them!

Great mystery

Book Swap

The book was fine. It seemed to be a quick ‘read’ and kept my attention but I wasn’t anxiously awaiting a time when I can listen to the book. The mystery seemed a little contrived and by the time the action arrived it was over so quickly and didn’t feel suspenseful. However, the premise of the book was interesting and appealed to me as a fan of book swaps.

Wish There Was More

Overall I give this a 3 stars. The concept is a little to far fetched for me and I just needed more. It felt a little rushed and left me wanting more.

This is an exciting mystery/thriller book!
When Laura receives a book in the mail from her online book swap group, with the words “help me” written in it, she immediately goes into investigative mode. She’s concerned with who might have written the message and if they need help. This takes her on quite an adventure. The ending was not what I thought it was going to be.

I listened to the audio and the narrator was very good!
