My life changed forever the day my father's oil rig crashed into the ocean. Now, three men want answers I don't have, and they'll do whatever it takes to get them.
Jax, Morgan, and Blake want to destroy me, but I know their secret.
I’m questioning everything I knew to be true. Especially when the truth about them leads to discovering a deep, long-hidden secret about myself.
They aren't who they appear to be...but neither am I.
*Complete Series includes Surge, Submerge, Emerge

If you can make it through the first 2/3 of book 1 the series redeems itself. I would classify it as a spicy YA/very tame reverse harem read. The main storyline has an interesting supernatural aquatic theme.
I almost DNF’d a few chapters into book 1 because of the abysmal make voices done by the female narrator. It was that bad. I usually don’t mind these narrators, though not my favorite.
The story feels incomplete because there is little resolution with the supporting character’s storyline. Readers of the genre will be familiar with the “good enough/who needs an editor” writing style.
Passable/At times engaging -books1-3

It's a good premise, but the execution could be better. I'm finishing it only because I want to find out about the kraken Ivey alluded to so many times.
What's her name is whiny and so naive. She just agrees to whatever absolutely anyone tells her to do. Morgan and Blake could be really strong characters without Jax being so overbearing. Jax is a manchild who acts hard but also just goes along with whatever his dad days until about 3/4 through the story.
