Las Vegas is known as Sin City. And what happens in Vegas usually stays in Vegas.

But someone in the city has powers that allow them to strike anywhere in the world and take lives—for a price.

Jack Nightingale has a track record of dealing with occult killers and so far he has always come out on top.

But this time the only way to find the killer is to set himself up as bait. And this might be the time when his luck finally runs out.

This book kept my attention, I have been listening to it often over the last two day. I did not hear any swallowing or digestive noises from the narrator in this book. Great narration.

It was actually great getting back into a Nightingale story with Thornley on the mic and set in my favourite city made it even better.
Although, the story was probably only a 3-and-a-half star rating as it was a bit repetitive and didn’t come close to the first and third books in the series.
I love Stephen’s work, and am almost convinced he does his own proof reading and editing otherwise it’s impossible to explain how many details slip through the net.
American ‘Airways’? Really? Lol. Also, both the deaths of his parents and his best friend were changed again compared to the original book and I’m surprised this wasn’t picked up on.
Anyway, a good book in the series, just not the best.
Excellently read by Paul Thornley.

Not bad; not the best.
