Abrupt ending

I enjoyed this book and the narration. My only issue was that the ending was abrupt. The year later jumps to certain events without showing us how it got to that point. Because of that, I give this around a 3.5

Short but riveting!

This book kept me completely engaged from beginning to end. The story was great and the narrator brought it to life.
This is my first book by this author but I'm pretty sure it won't be my last.

A really stupid story with lousy character's and an even more stupid ending

98 percent held hostage in a basement. Boring!
WHY? WHAT? WHO? What about the dog???

Astoundingly Atrocious

I had never been aware of this author, until by chance I came across the novel, The Third Son. It read as a hidden gem. Although it is a tad short, with a superficially developed plot, it was still wildly entertaining. Sadly, as good as I found the Third Son to be, the above title by Green is the polar opposite.
