Now, his parents have cut him off to force him to prove himself. I never thought he’d open a competing business to mine. So, I do what I do best, shove all my feelings aside and ready myself to crush him. Game on.

Misunderstood MCs, A good story

Reading the other books in this series, I knew this was going to be good. The world building, characters, and voice acting was great. The MCs were easy to route for and really good together.

Based on other books in the series, both MCs have a reputation but their actions never seemed to agree with their reputations. This book proves they are not the people others think. They see each other for more than the gossip suggest, grow together, pined from afar for a while, and genuinely care about each other. Also their feisty interactions are more sexual tension than "enemies-to-lovers". MMC is seen as a bad boy partier, rich guy, but in reality he's genuine, hard working, and cares deeply. He isn't a partier and he isn't one to toy with emotions.

MFC either gets sympathy and sad looks bc of her childhood or seen as the youngest child of a large family, flirt, and seeking attention. People tend to underestimate her and not see she's grown up. But she is hard working, smart, kind, and struggles with her own deep trauma.

Together, the MCs get each other, are there for each other, see the other for who they really are, and are good together. Plus the bickering as flirting really gets the tension going. Highly enjoyable, sad to see the series end.

I wish the narrators could read the book together and the female solely do the female role and the male solely do the male role. for me it would have been much better but I still loves it.

Perfect story for tgese characters

Loved it. Awesome series. I can hardly wait to read the next Pipper Raynes book.

The emotion, unbelievable

Didn’t want this series to end, but what an ending it was. So great, the narrator’s did an amazing job.

My favourite Greene couple!!

I swear after each book I say, this is my favourite couple!! Well…. I’m saying it again!!! These two have always had a special connection that they hid deep down since the death of the families mom. Yes, Cam has always been her big brothers best friend. So it seemed impossible. However over the years there’s always been a sexual tension, mixed with you drive me crazy and protectiveness.

The last chapter before the epilogue got me….. Get the Kleenex ready!!!! I loved it and bawled!! But it was the perfect way to end this story!!

Eric Michael Summerer is a new narrator for me and I really enjoyed him!! I’ve listened to a Stella Hunter a few times and really liked her as well!!!
