With the powers of a Blood Lord, Vince can form his own coterie of supernaturals. He can make them more powerful through a tantalizing vampiric ritual, but he can also benefit by acquiring some of their abilities.

But the arrival of a fabled Blood Lord to NYC won’t go unnoticed. Powerful groups like the Helsing Agency have their eye on Vincent, and if there’s one thing they don’t want, it’s to share power over the city, let alone the world.

Fun story light, moves fast, entertaining you will not be disappointed with the story. Will look at second installment

Another weak one

This started off ok but in the end it’s like most of Dante’s work. Good idea shit execution. Wayne is also pretty shittastic with his monotone mc voice, he just sounds like even he doesn’t want to read this book. Raya was great though I’d rather her read this trash alone.

Female narrator is the only good part.

The male narrator sounds like he would rather be anywhere else in the world, got the book for free and honestly upset I wasted 2 hours trying to get into it. Hard pass

Writing was cringy, male narrator not great either

The first half hour of the book started out well, but after MC awakens or fully converts to a vampire, the writing takes a nose dive. The writing is pretty bad when it comes to the intimate scenes. The dialogue for parts were cringy and seemed like it was written by a teenager.

I felt like the male narrator wasn’t expressing the right tones given the situation, and a lot of the time almost seemed like there was no emotion. Female narrator was one of the only things keeping me listening due to her distinct voices and performance

Just, awful

I love fantasy/paranormal romance but this was nottttt it. Had to return after only maybe 1/4 of the way through. The male authors narration was the only good part. Also, I didn’t realize there would me FF parts and it’s just not for me. I’d rather have MM, MF, or MFM/MMF
