Loved Everett

I love, love, love the Wilder Brothers. Really not sure which is my favorite story because I love them all. Another incredibly written story with amazing characters by Carrie.

True Second Chance

I have enjoyed each book in The Wilder Brother series, and The Path to You is my favorite. Having met Everett briefly in his brother's stories, I expected his story to be an emotional journey. It did not disappoint.

Having suffered a traumatic brain injury, Everett has lost part of his memory. He struggles with anger at being able to recall some memories over others and at times resents having to relive his past through his family accounting.

In walks Bethany, a remnant of Everett's forgotten past. Having suffered an emotional and very public breakup, Bethany, an up-and-coming actress, arrives at the Wilder Retreat to escape the media and regroup.

I enjoyed Everett and Bethany's stories. The narration from Patrick Zeller and Kit Swan was terrific. Kit brought a level of emotion to Bethany that pulled you into the story.

Typical love story

Narrators was great as always especially for the Wilder brothers. So swoon worthy. Everett story was so sad with how he struggled with memory loss and the headaches but when Bethany confronted him and things started coming back was a little to predictable as well as who was stalking her. It was obvious it was either her ex or his new girlfriend that was doing the stalking. I think the book would have been a little better if Elijah would have responded to the email from his friend he was in the service with dad and found some closure for his survivors guilt. The way they made compromises and and grew their relationship was great. He got her to stop running and accepted the lime light on his terms and she balanced out how they are exposed and controlled her own narrative instead of letting the media do it I always wonder how Elijah story plot for his book would come about since he already had a girlfriend and never seen the twist coming with his girlfriend being killed in an accident. Him and Maddie are both broken hearted. Her with pain and guilt. Him just in pain. I can't wait to read their story.

Love this story and narrators.

I think I may have found my favorite Wilder brother. My heart stuttered a few times with Everett’s TBI and what he was going through. I could never imagine. And Bethany, I felt
So bad for her. People are put in these scary situations and seeing how she needed to deal with it. Loved her and Lark’s relationship. And Trace seems like he’s going to be yummy. Lol. I adored these to and their path to a HEA. These Wilder men are just amazing, take
Charge Alpha’s who know when to bow down to their Queens. I love how their relationship is based on Compromise. Something for everyone to learn. This story brought some tears to my eyes. This family is giving the Montgomery’s a little
Competition. Thank you Carrie Ann for this story.

Good addition to this series

This third installment of this series was a pretty good read that I enjoyed from start to finish. This installment gives us Everett and Bethany's story as well as a teaser for what we can anticipate in the future for this series.

Everett, a victim of a road side bomb while serving our country now suffers from a TBI, headaches and memory loss. As a result of his memory loss, he forgets about his night with Bethany Cole but when he later meets her he feels drawn to her. He starts to remember her and has a strong protective instinct with her and slowly falls in love with her.

Bethany, a popular movie star is looking to relax after events in her life turned it upside down. She comes to the Wilder resort where she confronts Everett after the night they spent together in the past only to find out about his injury and his memory loss. She works through her issues with the events of her life and goes to face them but only after rekindling her relationship with Everett and forming bonds with his family that she did not realize that she was missing in her life.

This was a pretty good read that was enjoyable. There were a few twists that I did not expect but I will be honest in that as Bethany is working on dealing with her issues from her career and the events that took place before and after he vacation, I felt that she had a very strong 'poor me' attitude that turned me off at times. I feel that Bethany thought that she was doing Everett a favor by not wanting to involve him in her life and the issues that it at times brings but I also feel that better communication between the characters would have been better and Bethany would have had less time wallowing in her issues. I enjoyed the return of all of the characters from the previous books and being able to stay current with them.

In the audio book, the narration by Patrick Zeller and Kit Swann was performed well and made for an enjoyable listening experience. The pair did a great job bringing this story to life.

Overall this was a pretty good read that I enjoyed from start to finish. I would recommend this book and this series to others.
