Sir Roger Parkes is a man of some influence in the West Country. When he loses touch with his youngest daughter, he has a word with the Assistant Chief Constable of the local force. I listened to One-Way Tickets and Lane previously to this book and both were very enjoyable. I think I like Arcadia best of the three Willows and Lane books though. Maybe just because I read it last. Don’t know for sure. They are quite different from the D. C. Smith series.

I have read most of Peter Grainger’s D. C. Smith Investigation series. To be honest, I actually thought One-way Tickets was another book in that series when I got it. I read (listened) to it anyway and was glad I did.

I enjoyed the first two books in this series so I figured I would also enjoy this third one. I was right - and am wishing that it had lasted longer. I like learning about the characters and seeing them grow.
