I admit the ending I didn't see coming....but it took forever to get there.....quite slow, redundant, and a lot was going on at the same time.
However it eventually all fell into place and I did enjoy it.
I would not wish for Wes and Ivy's relationship...they really are made for each other.

I have read/ listened to all of samantha downing's books. A twisted love story was fantastic from start to finish. Ivy and Wes antics had me wanting more.

I listened to this on Audible & the performance was fantastic. The narrators really brought each perspective to life & the multi-POV format made the story even more addictive. The plot itself was easy to follow but still managed to surprise me in places. I flew through it way faster than I thought & definitely couldn’t put it down! There were for sure moments where I found myself yelling at the characters to make better choices!

As much as I enjoyed it, some of the twists could have hit harder. They were good, but I think they had the potential to be great. Also, there is absolutely zero spice, so if you’re going in expecting anything steamy, just know you won’t find it here. & while I personally didn’t find it deeply triggering, the relationship dynamics are very toxic at times, so I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who’s sensitive to that.

Overall, it’s a fun, fast, slightly chaotic read that kept me hooked from start to finish. If you’re in the mood for something twisty, dramatic & bingeable, this one is worth picking up!
