He must decide who he will take into his shelter and who he will reject, and those decisions will help him to form the bonds he did not have even before the end of the world. He and his new friends are faced with the dangers of the dead world as they are forced to leave the safest shelter anyone could possibly have in order to do more than simply exist in a zombie infested world.

wonderful overall!

The narrative of this was amazing. The different sounding voices and different ways of each character puts it in a great way of getting into the storyline. Also, the author seems to get into each character and explain to the reader how the characters were prior to the ZA vs during and after the event that caused possibly millions to walk to earth. I enjoyed these books and the narrator who painstakingly took pride in his reading. Thank you for these wonderful books. I definitely look forward to hearing or reading more from this group and seeing how Jean and the gang are with their futures. 10/10 will recommend to all my deadheads.

loved the cameraderie, the technical Chief Barnes, the survivors wth morals that still tried to stick to things like checking survivors for bites and all the pepper stuff. Very interesting

You can’t help but get attached to all of the likable characters. Very inventive and enjoyable.
