He and his new friends are faced with the dangers of the dead world as they are forced to leave the safest shelter anyone could possibly have in order to do more than simply exist in a zombie infested world.

Good listen but also…

This is a decent zombie tale, no reason not to give it a listen. It’s not particularly frightening but it has interesting plot points. However, I found the overall premise annoying and unrealistic— where a group of people have a totally safe haven in an apocalypse and repeatedly choose to leave it for unnecessary (even stupid) reasons. Made me sort of wish the group would lose one of their beloved members pretty fast an a outting, so reality of their unnecessary risks would hit them.

Good story its entertaining

Pretty good story its entertaining I mostly like the narrator I've stopped listening to stuff before just cause of the way its read..
I think there would be a whole lot more walkie talkie use though, there is really no reason for them not to be using them more like I'm sure it is something they would find in all the bug out bags and lockers at the entryways..
for sure the kids would have found some and used them well doing inventory..
I'm on book 4 right now overall the story has a nice flow to it, there is a bit of repeat but mostly a summery hate when a series constantly repeats the SAME stuff over and over..

It was a super fun and refreshing take on navigating zombies.

It was a really good listen with a great voice actor. I love the way the author went about having the characters navigate the zombie apocalypse.

Great story, although a bit beyond belief.

Very entertaining, and minimally gory. Almost a PG version of a zombie apocalypse. Worth a listen.

As for apocalyptic books, I really enjoyed this read. It’s worth your time. Listen to it. Good job, Bob.
