Fun story

While this story is comprised of familiar story elements, it was executed wonderfully and I enjoyed it. It could be the beginning of a series but it stands well on its own as it has a complete storyline. Soft sci-fi with good character development and fun premise. Great narrator too.

Partially misled

As a fan who seeks out books that are standalone novels , I was happy to find this book.
As I progressed thru this story it became obvious to me that the author was building a storyline that would easily lend itself to an episodic model and not the standalone format that was advertised.
Imagine my surprise when the end credits thanked me for listening to “multiverse book 1”
This minute “detail” was “conveniently” left out off of the title!
Overall an ok book , read by the great Ray Porter , with many familiar plot elements , but as I stated , I think the pressure to keep a series going and to create it at the start detracts from the story.
This has been proven time and time again.
In the creative (books and movies ) world Please , audible , don’t mislead your readers.

Old TV show mash-up?

Sliders meets Quantum Leap?
First off, Ray Porter is the man! because of his performance in Bobaverse, I checked out his work with other authors (and here I am with a new book, by a new author waiting for the next installment).
There was a little too much predictably, but I'll hold out further judgment until the second installment.

Riddle has Done it Again!

Yet another thrilling tale from the talented A.G.Riddle! I always love reading his books as soon as they come out and this one was worth the wait. The only thing that made it better than his usual novels was that it was also ready by my favorite narrator! Couldn’t have been more excited for this one. Hope the series continues!
