Another great novel from e. m. hamil

She does have a flare for telling a good story. I love the book. I am looking forward to her next book.

Intriguing Sci-Fi with action and adventure

Dali is still recovering from his tragic losses and hoping for revenge against those that sent his life spinning into grieving. Taking on a galactic diplomacy role, he must decipher what is the visible truth from the hidden truth before it is too late.

The author, E. M. Hamill introduces new characters and new situations. While the plot is complicated, Hamill deliberately keeps the story easy to follow. Blending in the role of negotiating is important to the plot. Hamill is detailed and masterfully revealing plot twists that leave the listener stunned. Hamill moves the story forward smoothly even when introducing new species and new characters into the series. The Shontavians are enjoyable and add to the story. While I enjoy the character Dali, I do hope he finds balance in his needs and comes to terms with his losses.

The voice actor, Justin Gibson, continues to provide interesting voices unique to each of the characters. He projects the intense moments skillfully and clearly. His rhythm is steady and strong. He helps to make the connection between the listener and the characters.

This continues to be a strong series with lots of action, romance, and likable characters. If you enjoy sci-fi with romance, this is a good series.
