Good overall

Very good performance..which moved the story quickly. If you like romance novels, you'll be happy with this story. Good guy, good girl, a little misunderstanding and some sex...all works out well in the end.

A great read and listen

Well narrated and written. The complex plot with its abundance of characters makes putting the book down very difficult.

I finished in two days. It kept me wondering what is next..
I’m looking forward to listening the whole series.

Unbelievable Hero

A 19th Century British industrialist would never have been the benevolent employer Paul was depicted as. I also found his controlling and jealous behavior creepy, not loving. Phoebe was more believable and her younger brother was a charming addition to the story. I hope Hyacinth’s book is more enjoyable.
