Gah it’s so good

This ginormous box set felt more like a single 8 hour book. It flew by. I absolutely adore Rowander. The character growth in this book and the deep relationship challenges feel so real. The theme of grief is so felt.

Even though we don’t get graphic sex scenes there is a little more to it than fade to black. As a married adult, I’m totally fine with it, but when I imagine my daughter reading this as a young teen- probably not happening if I can help it.

Narrators…. They were good but the female sounded too old and the male was veeeery dramatic 🤣.
But the story is so good i still got carried away in it

Great storyline

The only thing was the male narrator was AWFUL! Thank goodness he only narrated in the last book otherwise I don’t know if I could have finish the series. Other than that it was a great story and I really enjoyed it more than I thought it would!

Kept my attention but the male narrator....

The female narrator was amazing!! The male narrator was comically bad. He spoke in a whisper that just felt so cringy. I think he was trying to be sexy (??) but it was creepy. Thank goodness he was only in the last book. I would not have listened otherwise. The story was super good and I loved Rowan's whit.

Could not stop listening to it!

This was an excellent story, I couldn’t stop listening to it, and the female actor who read the book’s was fantastic! Her voice and inflections are so good that you know which character is speaking before it is even mentioned. Truly enjoyed it.

Favorite Series!

As someone who fell in love with this series on Kindle, I was so excited to listen to the full omnibus audiobook with bonus chapters! This series has everything you could ask for: romance, humor, dramatic twists and turns, and much more. The bonus chapters give you additional insight into multiple characters throughout Rowan's journey which just makes you fall in love with the entire Lochlann world even more. Olivia King and Adam Gold did an amazing job of bringing the story to life with different accents for each character and emotional portrayals that make you feel fully immersed in the story. I honestly can't recommend this series enough!
