Great story and without curse words!

I love the characters and the twists of the story. Wonderful to read a story that didn't need a curse word in every other sentence.

Such a Fun, Funny & Addictive Cozy Mystery Series

I had read the first book in this series, and I am sorry that I had not continued listening to this addictive series until now!

For me this is one of those mystery series that brings you deep enjoyment because of the brilliant writing by Ms. Mindy Quigly, the characters, the interesting plots, the locale, the humor, and the amazing multiple accents that narrator/performer Holly Adams entertains us with.

This second installment in Delilah O’Leary's complicated life as the recent owner of a deep dish pizza parlor struggling to establish itself in tony fictional Geneva Bay, Wisconsin (think of beautiful Lake Geneva, WI) provides plenty of intrigue and so many fun LOL moments!

All the quirky characters are back, including the cranky aunt and the fat cat "Butterball". There are also new characters, since someone has to die, with the ensuing search for the culprit.

The main plot involves winning the large monetary cash prize in the town’s annual “Taste of Wisconsin” culinary contest.

Romantic entanglements add to the intrigue, and there are plenty of tasty recipes mentioned, and included at the end of the book.

I particularly enjoyed the inclusion of Bulgarian Banitsa, which is indeed a staple in my Bulgarian relatives' homes.

This book will entertain any mystery lover. Now I am starting to listen to the third book , and look forward to listening to all 6 of them, plus I will select for my August book club read.
