One of my favorite adventures beginning to end

I love Zelazny and this won him an award but it just didn’t resonate with me.

Random stuff happens-- for reasons I guess. Maybe I'm just not smart enough to guess who all the main character was supposed to represent, but nothing seemed connected. The overarching story is a boring AF geopolitical real estate deal.

I cannot in good faith rate the story, as I cannot get past the narrator to listen to this. Awful narration. I guess I will have to read the written word myself to find out if it is a story worthy of the award.
