Why

The story was good, the characters were good as well. except the Ronnie character.
Ronnie is to mentally out of touch with her surroundings.
Each sentence I read with her speaking or thinking, I cringed.

Loved it

I love the damsel in need of saving. But I felt like I was reading 2 different books because the voices didn’t match.

Weak FMC

I understand there needs to be a little suspense and drama, but can we please have a FMC with some intelligence? Why would she disclose her relationship with a SWAT member in front of gang members. Can we stop portraying the FMCs as dumb a**es. FMC reduced the story to 3 stars instead of 5 stars. Fast forward to end didn’t care about FMC HEA.

Fun story

I love the series but I absolutely hate when the female character acts so dizzy and dumb. She was too educated for her behavior 🙄

Action and Romance! I love!

I like the fantasy that cops really want to protect. I like the action described. However, I didn't like the heroine's character as portrayed. I expected Ronnie to be a strong woman, and not sound so whiny. That's just my opinion.
