Characters stayed busy. Story didn't lag.

Story ended too quick. Expected it to go on. it was a good Story. Narrator kept voices consistent. Made Story easier to understand and easier to follow and enjoy.

I love all of Iris Johansen’s books. Loved this like the Kendra Michaels series. But I have a comment, the main characters, meant to be so strong, come off as whiny. Not sure if it’s the narrator or the dialogue, but they so often go on rants about how strong and independent they are they come off as whining about it. It annoys me. Anyone that independent wouldn’t need to declare it every time they talk. I still have this 5’s and recommend this to others but I wanted to comment on that.

I’m sorry, but this just isn’t up to her Irish Johansson’s usual standard

I got the feeling in this book that she used a recipe and just inserted the experiences to get to the end. I kept listening to see if it got better, but it just doesn’t like some of her other books that I enjoyed so much.

Loved It

I liked everything about the book. These are 4 (6?) more great characters. I hope it becomes a series!

Character development and pacing

Nothing. Enjoyed it completely. Finished in one day. Can't wait for next book in the series.
