Great story

I will return to submit a review as I have just finished this book and I am flooded with emotions.

Subtle but powerful themes

I was REALLY moved by this book. I seldom read books after listening to them, but I will read this one.

The research was impeccable, but the crisp, tight prose was even better, and I’ll remember the priests words for a long time.

An altogether great achievement that has already spurred me to buy two more of Lee’s novels.

Gripping story. Great narration! What heros they all were! Excellent Pacific war story. Good buy!

A great fictional story of real events

Without a doubt one of my new favorites of WWII accounts. The story and characters are better than i could have thought when i bought the book and ultimately purchased the Audible version as well. I would reccomend this to any person intersted in the Bataan Death March.
