some of the writing was lovely. And almost all of the characters were believable. some were heartbreaking.

I thought it was too long. The last few chapters were not as enjoyable, especially at the end when the author had to bring in climate change. Not that I don't believe in climate change, it just comes across as forced and a bit preachy. I didn't like the ending.

Fabulous narrators and story. Best book I’ve heard in a long time. Listen and don’t learn too much before you begin. Let the story lead you. It will beautifully in every turn and way.
