Wow! My new favorite Author and Series!

there are only two other authors I love as much, and with over 450 audio books in my library, Elizabeth Dear had joined a very small Fav List. Loved this MC, so strong and smart. The story was well paced, well written, had my heart pumping crazily several times! already started on book 2!👏🙌🫶

Amazing

What an incredible start to a series! Interesting and relatable characters and a very strong independent female lead which is very hard to find, except not here or in Elizabeth’s other book Mave Fortune. Moving on to book two.

Very Interesting

Very interesting, from beginning to the cliffhanger end. The narrators do an excellent job. I did not see some of it coming but most of it I did. I did find it very odd, though, that for a girl who cage fights and won a fight against two guys at the same time, one of whom also cage fights, she suddenly couldn't fend off little rich girls in a boat? Regardless that there were 3 or 4 of them to her 1, they still wouldn't add up to one cage fighting guy and she could use the instability of the boat to her advantage to knock them overboard before they ever landed a hand on her. That fight didn't make sense. But everything else was very good. Although I never understood how she could talk, even whisper, while hiding and not get caught. The book is worth the read or listen to, whichever your choice is.
