Great book

If you enjoy mythology, you should read this book. That is interesting and simple to read. The book is excellent, however the illustrations might be better.

An Excellent Introduction to Egyptian Mythology!!!

The Egyptian life that the mythology is set in is given in wonderful perspective by this history. Includes a succinct yet instructive historical summary.

Get to the point

When I was younger, I wished I had read Mythology first before the Iliad. Fans of Greek mythology must read this book.

Easy to follow and learn.

This book was fantastic. It goes through a lot of Egyptian history and its major deities. There is a wealth of information available on each of these deities, including how they came to be connected to the objects they guard. I like learning about the importance of having hearts as light as feathers to the Egyptians and their belief in the afterlife.
