Promising first adventure
A Guardian Rises is the first great audiobook in the Legacy of Seven series of fantasy stories written with talent and narrated quite well by author, educator and narrator P.J. Flie. The well written story follows Ondreeal, a regular farm girl that, unbeknownst to her, is irrevocably tied to the fate of the world she lives in. This coming of age story, although familiar in some aspects, brings enough diversity to the table so that it feels new and original. P. J. Flie managed to keep me interested for the entire duration of the audiobook, with fast paced action that successfully combines fantasy and science-fiction, intriguing characters, vivid descriptions, captivating world building and a compelling narration. I deeply respect all the authors who are going the extra mile and record their work for us audiobook listeners. I have a lot of narrator friends and I know how much work goes into an the production of an audiobook so I sincerely congratulate Mr. Flie for a job well done. Legacy of Seven: A Guardian Rises should prove out to be a really enjoyable and entertaining experience for fans of both fantasy and science-fiction tales filled with wizards, magic, war, epic battles, hope, heroism, betrayal, poor mortals, friendly droids and other machines. As I said above, this is the first book in a new series, so if you like this one, more adventures in this fascinating universe will be coming soon and I will be right here eagerly awaiting their arrival.

What a beginning!
A beautiful woven tail crossing different genres and ideals. The characters are masterfully brought to life for the reader and brings you back for more until the tail is done. I can’t wait to see the continuation of the story.
