John Mayer got his start after appearing in one of our stupid games called "Elevator from Hell". Barnes asked John in that segment, "what do you want to do in life" to which John replied, "be a singer/songwriter". Barnes invited the unknown John Mayer up to the studio to prove his chops. The rest as they say is history.
