Eric 'DJ Strobe' Cohen has been mixing records longer than I’ve been alive. He has a deep love for soulful house music and a passion for sharing the wisdom he’s acquired with the next generation of DJs and producers. As a recording artist he has dozens of number one billboard singles and multiple gold records to his credit. He has toured the world and played with legends in the electronic world like Todd Terry, Moby, and many more. Since moving to Ontario in 2018 he has been focusing on family but still DJs locally and on Twitch, produces records, and has been selling pickles (strobes disco pickles coming to a store near you.) Montana Mitchell (@MontiFresh ) is a dynamic yoga instructor and podcaster who came to Pittsburgh originally to study dance at Point Park. She has become one of the cities’ most demanded teachers with high energy classes at YogaSix and Yoga Flow. Her offerings have grown to include a busy collaboration with ‘The Retreat’ and ‘The Yoga Chat’ a podcast which has become one of the biggest in the 412 which she cohosts alongside May McReery ( @MayBelle13 ). She is also leading a 300 hr teacher training through YogaSix which may be filled by the time this post goes live. We discussed wellness in the US, the state of the yoga industry, how she survived the end of her career in dance and pivoted to teaching yoga, traded travel tales, and much more.
