PAUSE… Sink into the softness of your bed, And take a moment to notice how your skin feels, Against the gentle touch of your sheets or blankets. PAUSE… Let them soothe you, And soften you. As you sink deeper into the comfort of your bed. LONG PAUSE… The energy swims around you, Buzzing with things left undone, And details to be organized. PAUSE… Just notice it here, Watching the energy spin, Wanting your attention. Blue, yellow and red streaks of light, Chattering, Singing, Dancing. PAUSE… The noise of the day hovers, Wanting to stay. PAUSE… So breathe in deeply, And watch as it interrupts the movement, And begins to dissolve the thoughts. PAUSE… Breathe deeply again, Shifting your focus onto your breath, Onto the sweet hums of air coming in, And coming out of your lungs. PAUSE… Breathe deeply once more, And notice the lightness you feel, As little by little, The energy of the day dims, And dissolves. LONG PAUSE… Sink deeper now, Into your welcoming bed. Let it embrace you, And carry you into the night. Safe, Light, And free. PAUSE… Release them now, Any plans, Or thoughts, Or emotions, That remain from the day, That want to hold you here, And keep you from dreamland. Release them… And surrender your body, And your mind, To the nurturing embrace of the night. LONG PAUSE… Each grain of the day’s energy, That is released, That evaporates, Lightens you, And opens you. You’re raw in this moment, One with the healing night. Let her replenish you, And renew you. LONG PAUSE… Breathe and relax, Deeper and deeper in your bed. Breathe and release, All the energy of the day. So breathe in deeply, And be one with her, The truth of who you are. Free from the chains wrapped around you from the world. Free from the judgements coming from your mind. PAUSE… It means you love without condition, The darkest parts of yourself. And lovingly honor your brightness too. Embracing the magical mosaic that is you. PAUSE… So rest deeply now, And quiet your thinking mind, As everything that isn’t you…dissolves. PAUSE… The beliefs, The judgements, And the mountains of shoulds. They are grains of sands falling from you, One by one, Disappearing into the night. LONG PAUSE… Imagine yourself here, Naked and safe, Whole and at peace. Free from the burden of needing to be anything you are not. Alive and real, Burning bright like the stars. LONG PAUSE… The isness of you feels calm and clear, Expansive and light. PAUSE… Stay here with her, And let everything else float away tonight.
