Loved the Intrigue, Humor, Heart, and Heat!

What a great start to Louise's all new 'Be Still' series! I was totally captivated by this magical steamy romance with a touch of mystery. Sheriff Aiden Stone is a sexy single dad who's dreams died after discovering the betrayal of his deceased wife. When a crime spree hits his small town, he reluctantly hires Britt Bailey, to help find who is behind it. His family has held a grudge against her family for generations. He doesn't want to like her, but she is great at her job, stands up for herself, and has a sassy mouth he can't stop thinking about. Britt is trying to distance herself from her families eccentric ways. She loves being back home with her friends, and her new job working with the man she has had a crush on since her teens. As they spend time together, learning who they really are, the sparks begin to ignite and they are fire together. Aiden begins to see a future with Britt and his son. But as the case becomes deadly, and Britt's family seems to have a connection, will Aiden be able to trust Britt, or will secrets and betrayal break both their hearts? I fell so fast and hard, and became so invested in these wonderfully flawed characters, and their story hooked me right from the start! I loved watching Aiden and Britt's relationship grow and get stronger. They fit so well together, making a beautiful little family, and their chemistry was palpable. I also loved all their family and friends who were so funny, caring, and supportive.
Troy Duran, and Samantha Brentmoor's narration made this story and these characters come to life so beautifully. Duran's smooth, deep voice, and perfect inflections made Aiden come alive and made me swoon! Brentmoor's gripping delivery compelled me to feel everything these characters think and experience. They completely pulled me in to this world and I felt like I was right there with Aiden, Britt, and all their family and friends.
This is a completely addicting story that has the perfect balance of intrigue, humor, heart, and heat!

This couple overcame so much such a fun story to listen to and enjoy. Would recommend this series for sure to anyone!

Very cute

Great love story. Love the characters storyline was great lots of twist in terms narrator did a wonderful job. Loved how the two ended up together in the end was not boring overall great story.

*Audio - the narrators were excellent. aiden’s voice was perfectly gruff & sexy. brit’s was sunshine but the narrator did a great job with her range of emotions. definitely recommend the audio.

this was so cute. hot cop, teen crush to lovers, single dad all set in a quirky town with some suspense. so fun. i enjoyed every second of it. aiden & his son are so precious & the way brit just falls into their lives was perfect. a little office romance blooms into a forever kind of love. my favorite. the story was really engaging & the spice was 🥵🥵. i can’t wait for book two in this series!
