not what I was expecting

so I take audible suggestions alot on completed series. one credit for a weeks worth of listening at work is a good deal! I guess I do need to look in the author before I go buying though 😑 I was like OK standard sex scene whatever but it wasn't it was detailed 🤔 I shook it off and continued on after the second one I was like wth? looks up author 👀 I didn't buy a regular series nope I bought audio porn 🤣 that aside story wasn't bad and work was hilarious because we use a speaker and buddy my coworker stayed bright red! 🤣🤣

Good series

Good series with well done characters and a great setting. The world is rich and interesting and the relationships are well written.

Well written

Wasn’t sure if I would like this story, but I found it to be fantastic! Pacing was perfect, dragging out the mystery just the right amount, action scenes that weren’t boring, even the romance was nicely paced. If you’re worried about the romance part overtaking the story, don’t. This isn’t that type of book, yes there are scenes but it adds to the plot. The story doesn’t revolve around it. The main points in the beginning is solving mysteries and getting everyone to safety. In the later books the focus is on action against the enemies. Villains are easy to hate which is nice. There is also an element of examining different types of power which is always fun. Very satisfying ending, there is an element of the power of friendship wins. I know some people don’t like that trope but I do. Overall this is a good one.

Great narrator the storyline is just too long

It has lots of potential but the continuous continuation and feeling like it doesn’t go anywhere made me not finish.

Interesting

Loved the twists and a love that transcends death. Had to speed up the audio for the men since it was rather slow. Only issue I had was all the men in their chapters didn’t really sound different and became a tad difficult to tell apart.
