Everything about this book was a perfect sunny summer weekend read. It started with me with The Old Ducks and just gets better and better.

A well written and well performed fun read

As with all of Maddie Pease’s books, the stories take the reader/listener to new and exciting places with interesting people to be met along the way. The narrator does a great job of bringing a different people from different cultures to life.

Very cute story

Very cute story. Love how the MFC goes from feeling like she’s loosing everything to finding herself and her happiness.

Very pleasant

It’s a very pleasant story, without all the nonsense misunderstandings and people failing to communicate and such that tends to mark this genre. Yes, the story is a tad predictable, but I still found myself anxious for the next time I could spend some of my day with these characters in Italy.

The narrator is phenomenal! You forget you are hearing just one person with all of these brilliant character voices.
