Almost a complete duplicate to a different story

Okay- I am all for similarities in stories and know it’s kind of inevitable in this genre, but I can’t ignore the fact that this is almost a play by play of Yona. It’s like the authors read the manga and wrote it based off that with a few small differences. I’m serious, you can match characters to their counterparts; it’s so spot on. I’m shocked this hasn’t been brought up more. I’m rating it lower just for that, but the narrators did wonderful jobs so they definitely get the kudos here.

Okay, you have my attention!

Very fun and interesting fantasy, I am definitely invested in the characters. I am excited to see where this story goes and everything Devonry will become. Great world building, slow burn, one bed, enemies to hopefully loves!?! What else do you need!?!

Unique Story Telling

This was a good start to this trilogy! I like the dual POV, action & drama start out early & the tension between the MC's wasintriguing. Couldn't wait to jump into book two !!

I like it

With so many fantasy romance releases out there that include a royal on the run with their loved- hated bodyguard, this felt easy with a storyline I could follow. Looking forward to Book 2 in this series.
