A wonderful read/listen

Trifecta (Tin Star K9 Series Book 6), my eleventh read from author Jodi Burnett, who has rapidly become one of my favorite authors. This book continues the trend of well-written, enjoyable books, it caught my attention in the opening pages & I never put it down until completed. So when the opportunity to read the audiobook arose I jumped at it. Burnett has created a complete world in which her primary characters interact with an ever-expanding world of repeat characters, some very familiar from her other series. "I received a free Audible copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. Narrator Joyce Oben's talented reading adds to a wonderful book's enjoyment. I look forward to reading more in this series & more from this author, and look forward to Extraction - US Marshal Dirk Sterling - Book 1. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Plenty of action and personal dynamics.

When Trifecta came out in March, I borrowed a copy through Kindle Unlimited and provided the following review, I was offered a review copy of the audiobook from the author and immediately took her up on the offer.

When I listened to Renegade, the first book in the Tin Star series, I focused much more on Renegade than Caitlyn, Cole, Dylan, or any of the other human characters. As this series has progressed the human characters have become fully developed and more interesting. In Trifecta, Caitlyn and Cole are faced with not just the demands of their jobs, but pressures on their personal lives. I can honestly say Trifecta is my favorite of this series. Oh, before I forget, Renegade does an excellent job in this story.

Listening to Trifecta roughly a month after reading the book was not just a unique experience – normally the time between my listening and reading of book is at least 6 months- but showed me that an excellent narrator can bring the story to life, and in this case once again Joyce Oben brings Caitlyn and the while cast to life.

Great story and narration

I enjoy this author's books, and this one doesn't disappoint. The narrator brings it to life and keeps the listener's attention.

This book has if all!
Family issues, drugs, the chase, death, murder, rescue, strong female heroine, a canine easy to fall in love with, and a boy - caught in the middle.
And LOTS OF ACTION!
Love the narrator.

This series just gets better and better!

A great book in an even better series! The action and suspense were stupendous. Jodie Burnett's characters continue to develop and evolve as the series goes on. The dialogue is witty and well done. The performance makes the book vote alive!
