  • On the journey, the pivot, and speaking your truth with Andrea Costrino
    Jun 5 2024

I've had some excellent conversations on Reprogramming, but in this first guest episode of my SECOND year of podcasting, this one may be my new favorite.

My guest and I cover topics including what it's like to step into your creative genius, find joy in your craft, and find ways to TRULY support women, even when it's easier to go along with the crowd. We explore the *perception* of success versus the actual realization of it and how business owners can continuously find new ways to reinvent themselves and thrive.

It's open, it's honest, it's funny, and emotional. I think you'll take so much away from today's episode.

Andrea Costrino is the owner of Andrea Costrino & Co Portrait Photography located in Lewiston, NY. Andrea supports everyday women who are ready to step into their power and rediscover themselves through an intimate portrait experience. She's an educator who puts her graduate degree to good use by teaching people of all levels in photography how to create visually interesting images. Andrea is also an author who co-wrote Grit & Grace with 11 other incredible women who share their true stories of finding strength and hope during a time of darkness and despair. Andrea has been married for 14 years to her husband Nick and together they have two daughters.

  • On the 1 year anniversary: tips, triumphs, regrets, and what’s next
    May 29 2024

    We made it!

Reprogramming turns ONE YEAR OLD this week. When we launched on May 31st, 2023-- I had no idea the rollercoaster of emotion this little podcast would have me on:

    -excitement

    -overwhelm

    -frustration

    -gratitude

    -pinch-me bliss

    -empowerment

    ...the works.

On today's episode, I reflect on what I've learned-- including tips and tricks for getting a podcast off the ground, what it really takes to keep it afloat, where I could have personally done better, and where I'm taking this thing in the future.

(Spoiler alert: a change is gonna come!)

For all my guests and listeners who made this dream possible over the past year, THANK YOU.

If it's ever touched or entertained you in some way, I'd be honored if you share it with your network.

Here's to another year of REPROGRAMMING the status quo!

  • On CEO days and taking control of your business with Rachel Meltzer
    May 22 2024

If you’re an entrepreneur or business owner, chances are you’ve heard of or have even practiced the concept of “CEO days.”

I’ll admit, when I first launched my business, I took this to mean a day or long weekend at a lavish hotel, noshing on room service, taking yourself out for a massage and cocktail, and getting creative about the next phase of your business. SOOOO SEXY, RIGHT?

Well, that’s amazing, but I quickly realized in life with 2 young kids, those types of CEO days would be far and few between. For a while, I kind of gave up on the idea of it all together.

Enter today’s guest, who shares the *truth* about CEO days, along with what it was like to be raised by successful entrepreneurs, how she stays blissfully booked out, and this novel idea that as a business owner, you “don’t have to be stressed out.”

    Mind blowing, right?

    It’s a great conversation.

Rachel Meltzer is a freelance writing coach (and a freelance writer, of course). She's coached over 100 freelance writers on launching their businesses and getting clients. She's written for Lenovo, Grammarly, Loom, FarOut, Six Moon Designs, and more in the tech and outdoor recreation industries. She loves the freedom that freelancing gives her to thru-hike, live in a van, move whenever she wants, and spend time with her loyal cat, Bonnie.
