Please listen to the reviews with this one. I love T L Swan but this one was not it. My least favorite book for sure.

Good story and better narration

This wasn’t TL Swan’s best (who is ever going to compare to the Miles brothers) but I did discover my new favorite male narrator. Very listenable.

he is a complete d*#k

The hero was a horrible person blaming trauma for his disgusting behavior basically he could do whatever he wanted but completely thwarted her plans when it didn't go his way. She was way over the top on trying to be there for him and forgave endless amount of disgusting things that he said to her...just could not find anything really good about him this was a definite no for me.

Don't be fooled!

I read all the reviews before listening to this one. I only docked its stars for the fact that I personally love equal female and male perspectives. This one was definitely more female narration and perspective.
I saw in previous reviews that people thought the woman was childish and the man too harsh.
I disagree. If you listen to romance you know this is part of the game in certain books. Yes she played games, so did he, but it was a good amount of games on both parts!
I very much enjoyed the book! It was really good!. The guy ended up being a pretty great guy and sweet. Not all is what it seems in the beginning!
I like when a guy is sweet from the start, but I also enjoy when the guy is a bit of an A$$ then turns to be sweet, so this was right up my alley. Good listen for sure!

Henley and Juliet's story is spectacular! Their banter is noteworthy and given Henley's issue, his love for Juliet is nothing but a T.L. Swan novel!
