The four biographies about Jesus that open the New Testament are called "The Gospel," and Jesus himself went around preaching "The Gospel" and calling people to believe in "the Gospel"... so what exactly is "the Gospel" and what does it mean to believe in it? Weekly Reading Mark 1:1-8 Mark 1:9-15 John 1:1-13 John 3:16-21 2 Peter 3:9 Romans 1:1-4 1 Corinthians 15:1-8 Meditation Questions What are some specific ways in scripture that Jesus has demonstrated that he is worth placing his trust in? When you think about the message of Jesus launching the Kingdom of God by dying for our sins to bring us life, are there any doubts that his way of life is not really better than your own way of life? Will you accept Jesus and believe in him, or will you reject his way of life, rejecting him and continue to be your own King? Meditation Questions

    1. Do you ever relate to the people who want to break free from God? What is it that you imagine about God that makes you want to get away from him?
    2. God will allow you to reject him, but it only leads to your own undoing, apart from God, the life-giver, there is nothing good, no blessing. Even though you may be rejecting God right now, he is still open-handedly offering you his blessing, extending an opportunity for you to receive the life he offers. What does this tell you about who God is?
    3. Have you ever had a moment where you decided to commit your life fully to King Jesus? If not would you take a moment right now and make that decision?
