Don’t get it

Don’t understand the negative reviews of the narrator, narrator was frikin great, so it was hard to read the start of the novel the MC is an absolute waste of air, he’s a MASSIVE coward and just a god awful HORRIBLE person, I’ve only gotten to 3 hrs in but good god the MC is an evil bastard

Good, but annoying sometimes

This book was fun at times, but was a very slow burn.
The main character was really annoying most of the time and I really only kept going for the side characters.
like other reviews here, it really doesn't pick up until book 3, everything else just feels like filler.
I know people don't like the narrator and I can see why. He reads kind of slowly and incorrectly depending on certain moods that are supposed to be portrayed.
I think he will be a good narrator some day though.

the relationships could have gone farther

after a bit of slow set up, it acts like the tide. the action ramps up and then there a low. the main relationship was good but I feel could have went farther and deeper. But it's a great start to have in what could be mainstream media later on.

Wonderful trilogy

This coming of age tale was absolutely wonderful to listen to and I hope there is a continuation one day.

Such a twink!

It was slow to get going. Third book I was def hooked. Look forward to some other books from the author. Someone get that twink a vodka soda.
