The author, Anthony Braaten presented a skillfully crafted set of stories, each intricately imbued with strong moral values. The one that stands out in my mind is the story of the lost wallet. He reminds us that sometimes the littlest things will have the greatest impact. While incidents or objects appear to be overwhelmingly large, in truth step back and relook at things. You will discover that all too often when put into perspective, those large things are insignificant. The smallest or least bothersome things oftentimes are ignored yet they teach us the most.
The narrator, Carl Martens, provides these stories and insight in a clear and concise manner. His delivery is steady, and his tonal inflections are not judgmental but rather soothing. He further enhanced this collection of stories through his talented delivery and cadence skills.
A quick listen for young adults up to the elderly. We all have a lesson to learn here!
