Publisher's summary

"She is a difficult creature, my tiny Kat. But I have never met with a creature I could not tame..."

Kat

I can't believe so many of my human friends have fallen in love with aliens. Sure, the Sea Sand warlords are strong and tall, and some might even say good-looking. I still think it's absolutely nuts to jump into a relationship with one of them. I will be avoiding all of that, thank you very much. That's what I keep trying to tell Galok, the arrogant, grinning warrior who refuses to leave me alone.

I can't figure out what his deal is. There are far more willing humans than me in our camp, and we aren't even supposed to be mates in the first place. Yet Galok still tries to woo me in his weird alien way. No matter how hard I push him away, he just comes springing back, his copper eyes glinting.

Maybe this guy just likes a challenge. Well, challenge accepted. I will never, ever fall in love with an alien.

That's a promise.

Galok

I do not need the Lavrika to tell me that Kat is meant to be my mate. She is mine, mate bond or not. Her striking blue eyes and angry mouth send fire through my veins. No other woman has captured my attention like her. Yet, that attention seems to bother her. This does not deter me. Every hiss, kick, and furious look she throws in my direction only makes me fall harder, only makes me more confident in my decision to pursue her.

She may be stubborn. But so am I. I will win her guarded human heart. No matter how long it takes.

That's a promise.

**"Alien Reject" by Ursa Dax: A Riveting, Spice-In

"Alien Reject" by Ursa Dax captivates with its potent blend of spice, a slow-burn narrative, and an intricate tale available through Kindle Unlimited. The enemies-to-lovers trope takes an intriguing turn, introducing a morally gray Male Main Character (MMC) whose unpredictability adds a thrilling dimension to the story. The dynamic between the characters is magnetic, with a noteworthy tension that keeps readers engaged throughout. Dax's narrative weaves a compelling story, delivering a refreshing take on unconventional characters, making "Alien Reject" a must-read for those seeking an offbeat yet captivating journey.

Alien Reject - Kat and Galok

📚- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🗣️🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧
🥵- 🌶️🌶️🌶️

Okay, I did not think I would enjoy Kay’s story as much as I did. I figured she would spent most the story fighting her feelings and being super mean. But getting to know her and the reason she keeps everyone at a distance it made so much sense. I ended up relating to Kat most out of all the women so far. Kat is a 5ft 105 lb firecracker with a mouth! She is a chemist who has a ton of piercings and hair shaved close to her head. She likes to blow stuff up and turn Galok down every time he does anything for her.

Galok is a 7.5 ft cinnamon roll golden retriever alien warrior. Even though he has not yet been shown Kat’s face in the lavrika pools as his mate, he chooses her anyway. Every spicy retort she bounces back only makes him love her more and smile bigger.

I really enjoyed these two and their journey to becoming mates. I am very excited to see where the next two audiobooks available go!

A respectful Pepe Le Pew

Galok telling himself: “i promised I would not do anything unsavory with her tongue…”
Galok two seconds later: “Please, ask me to do something unsavory with your tongue!”
He was not my favorite LooneyTunes character, but somehow Galok being a more respectful, yet still exuberant and smothering, Pepe Le Pew worked for me. I think it was the higher levels of comedy.
Kat was a prickly hedgehog, including her shaved head, multiple piercings, and abrasive (yet endearingly vulnerable) personality. The enemies to lovers banter was hilarious.

Kat: “That annoying, idiotic, goofy alien!”
Yes, even the FMC recognizes these kangaroo-like aliens are all giant himbos - and Galok is the biggest, giant-est 😜 himbo of them all. Yet, it worked for me more in this book compared to the previous three.
I think it was Kat, who as a chemist finally (finally!) does something science-y. Bonus, she and another team up to science the shizzel out of a situation and save the day. In addition to giving the ladies brains,
I like that the various tribes are interacting and starting to work things out; even if the ladies aren’t included in the chieftains’ conference, their opinions are valued. That gives layers to an otherwise shallow series.

Galok: “Gross?! That was not the reaction I was looking for!”
Of course, the whole point of alien romance like this is the pulpy, campy romance … that gets to the idealized, he’s big and O-O-O! he’s got extras on his extra big-!, sex. Here too, this series tends to have me rolling my eyes at how great sex is with a manchild who’s never done it before. And yet, this couple, including the sex scenes, worked for me. This book was my favorite so far, not because it got rid of the goofy parts, but because it upped the comedy, brains, and heart.
