Gern würde Trickster-Gott Loki wieder in Asgard bei den anderen Göttern leben. Leider sitzt er aber auf der Erde fest – und das ausgerechnet mit Thor. Der ist nicht nur beliebter und sportlicher als Loki, zu allem Überfluss darf er auch noch eine große Geburtstagsparty schmeißen. Unfair! Als nach der Feier Thors Lieblingshammer verschwunden ist, wird Loki schnell zum Hauptverdächtigen. Doch weil er (ausnahmsweise) wirklich unschuldig ist, beginnt er, eigene Ermittlungen anzustellen. Dabei bekommt er es mit fiesen Frostriesen und einem perfiden Racheplan zu tun. Kann er endlich beweisen, dass er die Rückkehr nach Asgard verdient hat?
