  • How finding flow in your day can help you feel more aligned
    Mar 30 2024

In this episode I chat with Louisa Daubney, a Life Coach, working with over-giving female founders of purpose-driven businesses who want to design their day their way, leaving productivity to develop with more joy and ease.

After getting to grips with her own schedule post the 9-5 lifestyle, Louisa has designed a daily structure and a set of healthy habits which are aligned with her goals. She’s now sharing these lessons with her clients to help them create their own versions.

Her goal is to guide her clients away from the daily frustrations of feeling ‘they’re not getting enough done’ and the frazzle that often comes with it, towards greater fulfilment and energy to spend quality time with loved ones after the end of the working day.

This practical approach empowers her clients to discover more focus, improved and joy-filled productivity, and increased fulfilment.

Louisa believes that if we understand our own natural rhythms and flows, it will help us to build a healthier, happier and more fulfilling relationship with our time, energy, and attention, keeping the frazzle at bay.

Her areas of focus with her clients include:

    • Analysing where your time, energy, and attention are currently being allocated to identify how to use these resources more effectively to focus on what matters most to you.

    • Defining your vision and goals for your business, well-being, and/or that passion project you’ve dreamt of starting since you left the 9-5, and developing a practical action plan to work towards achieving them.

    • Designing a tailor-made daily schedule that aligns with your goals, supports your healthy habits and routines, and reduces distractions.

    • Creating a set of healthy habits and routines to support you in achieving your goals, and establishing boundaries to maintain your energy and focus.

    • Developing and implementing a structured process to reflect on your progress, make the necessary adjustments, and celebrate your successes along the way, thereby sustaining motivation and focus.

  • The power of mindful eating, body acceptance, and self-compassion- With Linn Thorstensson
    Mar 23 2024

In this episode, I chat with Linn Thorstensson, a compassionate Non-Diet Nutritional Therapist who brings her work a unique blend of expertise and empathy. Join us as we delve into the nuances of mindful eating, body acceptance, and the transformative power of embracing a non-diet approach to nutrition.

Linn Thorstensson is a Non-Diet Nutritional Therapist who offers nutritional counselling to people struggling with their relationship to food, eating and their body.

She strives to practice from a Health At Every Size, trauma-informed and social justice lens. (I am however human and won’t always get it right!).

In her work, she draws on a multitude of modalities, such as Intuitive Eating, Mindfulness, CBT,

Motivational Interviewing Neuroscience, Somatic Practices and Nutritional Therapy, to work with my clients in a person-centred way. This means that every person's

programme and journey will be unique.

Beyond that, this also leans on her recovery, and self-development work and of course every client she has worked with in the past has taught her much beyond what the textbooks ever could!

She also actively engages in continued education and ongoing supervision.

  • Embodiment for self-awareness and change with Ruth Haslett
    Mar 11 2024

In this episode, I chat with Ruth Haslett about embodiment practices for self-awareness and change. We talk about the power of tuning into your body, the benefits of embodiment in therapy, and cultivating a kinder relationship with yourself.

Ruth is a therapeutic coach supporting overwhelmed humans to shift from stressed and anxious to a calmer state, to live a happier and fulfilled life.

By creating a safe space for clients to become deeply aware of well-worn habits and behavioural patterns, Ruth supports them in learning to consciously challenge their limiting thoughts, calmly balance their emotions, and tune in to the experience of being present in their bodies.

As a recovering anxious, burnt-out human, Ruth truly believes that supporting others to live happier, more fulfilled, and emotionally aware lives results in a society that is healthier, more connected and functioning at its best.

After gaining twenty years of experience as a social worker, Ruth trained as a coach in 2020. She has worked with More Happi, coaching employees from organisations such as Friends of the Earth, Pact Coffee, Minor Figures and Blue Ventures. Alongside her private coaching work, she currently freelances with Lyra Health and Mental Health UK alongside her private coaching work.
