Cranford by Elizabeth C. Gaskell - Chapter 15 and 16

This episode will bring us to the end of the book "Cranford" by Elizabeth C. Gaskell.
In chapter 15 we see Mrs. Jamieson return to town and pass judgment on the activites that have taken place since she left. Lady Glenmire returns to Cranford now married to the town surgeon. Martha and Jem Hearn get married and before the chapter ends, are expecting their first child. We see Miss Matty doing very well in the tea selling venture. The biggest suprise comes toward the later part of the chapter as a very special guest arrives in Cranford.
In the final chapter, we find Peter has become very popular with the ladies of Cranford. They love hearing him as he embellishes his tales to entertain them. Peter arranges for the famous Signor Brunoni to perform in town and goes to great lengths to keep everyone happy. He is determined for the sake of his sister to restore peace amoung Cranford.
