We get it, Gympass

Really enjoying this series, but the GymPass mentions are WAY over the board, and really take away from the story. I work in public relations so can certainly appreciate the need to get your money’s worth on advertising, but the spiel at the beginning/end is more than enough. It was cute to weave it in as an employee benefit in the first episode, but given how many times it’s been mentioned by episode 3 by the characters/disrupting the story, it comes across as inauthentic and corny. For example, the long-winded mention of Gym Pass during the first AB meeting was unnecessary and jarring to pushing during a really interesting scene.

Fun little listen!

The sound design and production value is pretty decent. The voice acting is pretty fantastic. Kate Mara and Brett Gelman are really top notch! Brett Gelman is pretty much awesome in everything he touches, so I knew this one would be great! Give it a try, it’s easy listening and does give an immersive experience!

Entertaining, engaging and worth it

As someone who has always had an interest in human resources and assassins, this podcast hit the spot. The narrators did a good job of making this story entertaining and interesting. I loved every episode. I wouldn't mind another series of this podcast.

An advertisement cloaked as a murder mystery

Don’t waste your time. Every few minutes you have to listen to a gym pass advertisement.

It's just a really long add

Ok so let me start by saying the actors were great and the story was something new and different. It has a fun feeling to it but there is a major issue with this podast. It is just a seriously long and repetitive add for Gympass. The episode run time is about 15 minutes long but 3 minutes of that is an add and credits at the end of every episode one minute of that is an add somewhere at the beginning and a recap of the previous episode. And that is not including the adds they have the characters spew randomly during the episodes. I had to force myself to continue listening because while the story is intriguing, you are being beat over the head with Gympass adds. Maybe it wouldn't have been so jarring if I caught it weekly during the original release, but it's truly awful listening to all the episodes back to back. It takes you out of the flow of the story. Fingers crossed, if they do a second season, they will scale back on that aspect.

Too much wasted time on Commercials & Credits

Other podcast stories do not spend as much time on credits and commercials during *every* episode. Trying to skip through that can be very tedious when the chapters are pretty short. Skipp past those was a huge inconvenience while resting or driving. Ruined the story for me and I couldn't finish it.l :/
