Oh I love this book, their chemistry is off the chart. I can’t wait for book 2. Isabelle and Logan did an excellent job at Narrating

Cliffhanger ending

This is a new author for me. I did enjoy the story. The male has some narcissistic moments that I would like to high five his face for. It's like he is actually a decent guy who respects his wife and doesn't let others disrespect her, but has these moments where he thinks he needs to be an alpha-hole just for the sake of being an alpha-hole. The narrators did a great job. I don't want to give spoilers for the book. I will say the storyline is intriguing enough that I would like to listen to the next book. It does end on a cliffhanger. Unfortunately, the next book is not available on audio yet.

Dying for more!!

“People will treat you the way you let them.”

This was a fun read about … loyalty … and shifting loyalties. It made me think at times and was entertaining. Based on this book, I’d absolutely read more from this author—I’m glad I gave this one a chance.

Love Luciana

Ella's books are always so yummy. A beautiful, arranged marriage, dark, twist and turns, Alpha-hole, bully, Mafia and well written story. Could not stop until I was finished.

The Cold Truth of Family and Love:

The mob world is a cut-throat place; literally. We all know that. Poor Lou never wanted to be apart of a family like this, trapped, but in the dark about their dealing. A locked away gangster princess until her family sells her to another mob boss in order to make an alliance. Or so they say. Lou is caught between surviving her new rough husband and spying on him for her family when she is as innocent as a lamb. And soon, her anxiety, heart, and loyalty are tearing her apart.
Maybe this arranged marriage is more than she could have expected…
This story goes into dark places and that didn’t surprise me since it’s about gangsters. But I thought some of the scenes were a bit intense. That’s me personally. The romance is dark at times. And this ending! Phew! It has me wanting more for sure, but I am afraid for our girl. And lovers.
The writing is well done and pacing good. It flew by when I listened to it, which is high praise.
Miss Turner had a lovely intonation to her voice. A little breathy, but fit the innocence and exploration of the character well, especially during the intimate scenes.
Mr. Anare is my favorite male narrator. This is the 11th book I’ve listened of his (I look for books where he is narrating,) and man! He played the ruthless Saint well! The range of his voices and personas is beyond enthralling.
