I am obsessed with this author's books and the audio. The readers are just fantastic. They really bring the whole story to life. It's a wonderful love and erotic story of 2 young men stuck in a fantasy world. Can't go wrong

Battle of Winter

In this installment of Arcane Hearts, Jackson and Xander take on the fae Queen of Winter. The boy’s relationship is challenged by a new Incandescent who takes a liking to Xander. Jackson grows the artificier’s guild and takes on the role of guild master. In true Nari Noor fashion Claws of Winter is a well written an enjoyable read with some spiciness and danger thrown in. The boys take the next steps to saving the world and repairing connections with the Verdance as well as moving their relationship to the next step.

Zachary Johnson does an amazing job with the narration of this series. His voice for Jackson is so deep and manly! He really makes the characters come alive and is so easy to listen to.

I love this series and cannot wait until the next book in the series. I will be soooo sorry when it is done. I hope Jackson and Xander have cameos in some of the other series.

snark, humor, meddling deities

Zachary Johnson’s narration is just perfection in this series. Firstly, he IS Jackson. I can’t imagine anyone else embodying Jack the way he does. Secondly, the nuances, inflections, and accents of the cast of characters are outstanding. The evolution of Jackson and Xander’s relationship has been a wild ride. The introduction of The Incandescent character makes Jackson’s insecurities rise again, which is seen throughout this book. We still have adventure, mystery, meddling deities and frustrating parents. All with strong friend and family connections and of course plenty of snark and humor. We’re left with a few questions and I can’t wait to hear how the series wraps up. It can’t come soon enough. I’m not impatient AT.ALL.

Love this series

The story continue with this love struck couple and group of friends. Xander and Jackson are compelled to confront the Winter Fae Queen as well as Xander's parents. The series is great as long as you can handle the spice. I love how the shadow and fae communities are coming together to help each other. Will the Halls of Making come to fruition? Will the Pride AI become more autonomous? Will Jackson and Xander make a profit on their wares? You will just need to check on this book as well as the entire series to find out. If you love world(s) building, you'll love Nazri's work.

Zachary Johnson breaths life into the series. Definitely worth a listen!
