Too politically

The narrator was the only reason I listened to the end of the book. The left is evil. The right will save all. Sad.

the lack of character development

The book felt like it had ADD the way it jumped around in time. I think the author was attempting to use this as charachter development, but it just came off as very loosely connected vignettes.
The author doesn't know the most basic information about flying. A cyclic is used in rotary-wing aircraft, not in fixed- wing aircraft.
The author does not understand the military. A young pilot is not pulled out of flight school to be a general's aid, the Command and Staff school is not something you do as a Leutenant and not while in flight school. An O-3 will not be the XO of a fighter squadron. An O-6 does not attend the Naval War College, he teaches there.
These errors were glaring to me. That said, I did finish the book because I paid for it and no other reason.

Pathetic MAGA Thriller

In between the rantings about the fictional president not being born in America, homophobic and Islamophobic jabs, birther conspiracy, and general statements that all Democrats are communists and should be shot, the book is dumb. Disjointed and confusing. I gave up with 2 hours to go because I got sick of his ranting about politics. Just finish the story Hewitt, we get it that you hate democrats. I feel for the excellent Gary Bennett who had to read this smoldering pile

Not o fan of MAGA nonsense

Struggled to finish this. The narrator was not my taste. The plot was ok but the constant references to “liberals” being evil, losers, etc. -
Republicans good, was cliche and boring. Expected more.
