Great Friends to Lovers Book!

Leo and Yvonne have always been friends and Yvonne had a crush on him when they were younger, but Leo dated someone else and they remained friends.  Leo is now a single dad and things started to change for the 2 of them.  I enjoyed their changing relationship and their family values.  I loved all Yvonne’s family in the story.  There were a few ups and downs, but it all works out in the end.  Great story and great narration by Lee Daniels and Connor Brown.

Loved it!!

I am loving this series by Mari Carr! This one may be my favorite so far. Loved the characters and the storyline pulled at my heart strings. The chemistry between the two leads to a super steamy listen.

Conner Brown has quickly become a favorite narrator of mine. I like Lee Daniels voice, but it took time for me to settle in with her in this book. I have NO idea why. Maybe the writing or something else? But it soon work itself out and I didn't want to pause the audiobook. I was completely invested. Their emotional performances had this rolling like a movie in my head.

Sweet Single Dad Romance!

This is the book 8 in the Wilder Irish Series. I liked Leo and Yvonne's sweet story. Leo, a single Dad, is handsome, and dominant. Yvonne is beautiful, sunshine, supportive, and caring. They are perfect together. The supporting characters are great. I liked Leo's sons. The family bond is amazing in this story. Lee Daniels and Connor Brown did a great job bringing this story to life. I enjoyed it. #PFPAudio

Wild Spirit

Wild Spirit is the 8th book in the Wilder Irish series. These books could be read as standalone. I have only listened to a few in this series, and have enjoyed them all and hope to give the rest a go when I get some free time.

This book is about Leo and Yvonne and is told from both of their points of view. Yvonne and Leo have been friends since they were young. Yvonne has always harbored feelings for Leo, but he was in love with someone else.

Now he is the sole provider of his son, and Yvonne is there to help. Yvonne is a while spirit and Leo is now in chaos. Can the two of them combine their crazy/calm and be who each other needs?

I really enjoyed this book, and getting to know the characters.

Wilder Irish book 8 - can be standalone

This is book 8 in Carr's Wilder Irish but can easily be read / listened to as a standalone. I adored this read / listen. Dual narration by Lee Daniels and Connor Brown was perfection for our main characters Leo and Yvonne. A friendship that has spanned years and a crush that was put on the back burner, This single dad, friends to lovers listen will captivate and give you all the feels. I love the sense of family that Carr writes from both our main characters, and I adore Pop-pop and his ever words of wisdom. Great twists in the dynamic between these two and how families come in all shapes and sizes when you put the priorities where they should be. I loved this book from start to finish and I can't wait for more Wilder Irish / Connor family romance!
