The immaturity of the dialogue of book and the reading of it.

I have never written a book review but this one.
On this book I am saying to myself “this sounds like a 16 year old teenage girl wrote this”.
I could not finish this at chapter 3. I always try to give a book a chance to get into it. Sorry, but the audio version of this did not do this book any good if that could be done.

I really enjoyed reading this author.  I look forward to reading more books by this author in the near future.

quick, easy, and low-angst romcom

Overall this was cute, but definitely not a favorite of mine from R.S. Grey :(

* opposites attract & grumpy/sunshine
* he falls first
* forced proximity / one bed trope
* setting: Island resort
* slow burn
* dual POV

I can't quite pinpoint exactly why I didn't love this, but I feel like maybe it was the character and relationship development - it all felt too fast but also inconsistent? I can usually connect quickly to R.S. Grey's characters, but these two are very forgettable? I hate even saying that...

I was also confused with some of the timeline in the beginning - as I was listening, I thought I had missed something because the jump back in time was just so out of nowhere.

Overall, it's a quick easy and low-angst romcom that I give 3 stars!

Not the best R.S Grey Plot

Very simple plot, good easy listen but not my favorite. Enjoyed the female narrator’s voice and storytelling
