When everything changed, death didn't take like it used to. Marcus returned to find everything was different: the people, the places, the world, and most importantly... himself. Heroes and villains were more real than in any comic book, and it was up to him to find his place in the city he used to call home. Unlike before, this time, he had the power to make people respect him.

In order to figure things out, he will need some help. Thankfully, he has some interesting women to guide him on his path to discovery. Maybe, just maybe, they'll join him in a little criminal activity along the way.

You've got to love a good take on Heros

I have to say its always a good sign when an author can write up a good and unique story out of something so come like supers especially with marvel and alike, plus the whole man out of time thing is so great that leads so so many funny takes on how thing are currently in the future of the books time line, I love our 3 main character and plus the world is really unique i cant wait to continue to book 2, I definitely recommend this book series.

Great world building and good heroes.

Melanie Hastings kills it again as for the book itself the protagonist was more of a hero than a villain. I did like the two heroines though they had nice rich stories. I really didn't like the protagonists goal. it showed zero character improvement in my opinion.

Amazing Story.

The voices are incredible and story is awesome. I can't wait for many more volumes to come.

good storyline to the plot, male inhale through his mouth and distracting hoping that is correct in the next couple of books

only the narrator sharp inhale is distracting. Hopefully it will be cut or edited out . Something was the female so far has been perfect and clear with her announceation and no sharp inhale from her.
