Loved the pace and style of writing - felt like I was with them on the trip

Entertaining Listen

The narrator was great and engaging- the forth wall breaking was a fun take on a murder mystery- but I did see the twist coming a mile away and figured it out way before the protagonist so I wasn’t that impressed by the mystery itself. But it was still a super fun read and I would definitely continue reading the series. Maybe the next one will be harder to figure out?

This story kept me guessing the entire time, which I appreciate. I love that the author kept including the reader in the story as well. This was the first Catherine Mack book for me and I’ll definitely be reading more.
