Overall very good but the heroine can drive you crazy with how spontaneous and stupid she acts

Debra Webb dies it again! Strange but fascinating story. I was not disappointed by this twisty plot. Could t stop reading it. Debra Webb is one of my favorite authors! Hope there is a sequel soon.

Secrets always bring the worst out of people

The secrets people keep and the extent they'll go to keep them from being exposed. Loved this book and it was definitely a game of who did it.

MC not very likable…

This story was ok for me; I had a hard time connecting with the main character and although portrayed as a grown woman with years in law enforcement, some of the decisions she made were so dumb and rookie like! As a law enforcement agent, with experience managing a team of law enforcement agents, she was not believable at all. Cops never leave their weapons behind… but it wasn’t unbearable.
